Loosehead Prop

Oakville, Ontario, Canada

Djustice began playing rugby at the age of 11 for the Oakville Crusaders and continued his career in the sport at the famous Shawinigan Lake School. He got his first taste of international rugby with the Canada age-grade program at the U17 level and graduated through the U20’s to the Canadian National Team, debuting for the Senior Men’s XV’s in 2013. After graduating, Sears-Duru headed across the pond where he spent a year with the Leicester Tigers (12-13). In 2014, he left Europe to take up a season with North Otago Rugby Club of Oamaru, New Zealand. He was then selected to the 2015 Rugby World Cup squad where he made four match appearances during the coveted tournament. His past two seasons before coming to Seattle were spent with Scotland’s Glasgow Warriors (16-17) in the Pro14 and Ealing Trailfinders (17-18) of the Greene King IPA Championship in England. Sears-Duru brings 46 caps worth of test match experience to a seasoned Seawolves pack to further the depth of the Seattle engine room. The prop adds smart decision making and physicality on both sides of the ball.
